Major 3rd Descending

The major 3rd is an interval that spans 3 notes on the musical staff.  It consists of 4 semitones or half steps.  It can be practiced the following ways.  

Moveable Do:                       

Mi - Do

Summertime (from Porgy and Bess), Swing Low Sweet Chariot, Mary Had a Little Lamb (1st and 3rd pitches)

Scale Degree Numbers:   

3 - 1  

 

Sing the descending intervals along with the recording using a system of your choice.
