Sing the melody without using the recording.
First press play to hear a broken chord which gives you the Do Mi So and top Do pitches followed by the starting note.
Press pause. Then sing the melody without the recording using solfege words. It will be sung an octave lower than what is written.
Finally, play the recording to check your work.
