The minor 7th is an interval that spans 7 notes on the musical staff.  It consists of 10 semitones or half steps.  It can be practiced the following ways.

Scale Degree Numbers:   

2-8 or 5-4

Sing the minor 7th interval using the strategy of your choice.  Try using a different strategy the second time for greater understanding.  The interval will be played twice.

*Hint - Try singing the bottom and top note of a dominant 7 chord for an ascending minor 7th.
