Minor 3rd Descending

The minor 3rd is an interval that spans 3 notes on the musical staff.  It consists of 3 semitones or half steps.  It can be practiced the following ways.  

Moveable Do:                       

Do - La  or  So - Mi

Song References:               

Frosty the Snowman, American National Anthem (first 2 pitches), Hey Jude (Beatles)

Scale Degree Numbers:   

8 - 6  or 5 - 3

Sing the minor 3rd interval using the strategy of your choice.  Try using a different strategy the second time for greater understanding.  The interval will be played twice.
